The rap homie JD Madafaca from Havana, Cuba asked me to do something with his certified classic single, so I wrote some raps and flipped some beats to get it facelifted like thiiiiis... - Anacron

Chris Rivers brings the this week over Mac Miller’s “Fight The Feeling” with his own rendition “Can’t Fight The Healing” where Chris paints the picture of someone with a broken heart attempting to find connections elsewhere which are ultimately shallow and unfulfilling. It’s clear that there is a need of time for healing.
This one is more raw and vivid with the slower more tonal flow that Chris has been showing lately. Like share and support!

Tom Misch is a devotee of Dilla who’s been putting in work for years as a lo-fi SoundCloud producer. The South London singer and beatmaker self-produced most of his recent debut album ‘Geography,’ which features a rare lyrical cosign from Native Tongue OGs De La Soul. The last time he was in NYC, Misch accepted Mass Appeal’s Rhythm Roulette challenge, pulling up to Norman’s Sound & Vision in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to tie a T-shirt over his eyes and go groping for vinyl.
His random selections included ‘El Sabor De Gene’ by Gene Hernandez, as well as albums by the Panamanian vocalist Basilio and Hells Kitchen’s own Lisa Lisa. Wasting no time, Misch pulled the vinyl out, dropping the needle until he struck gold. Before you knew it, he’d isolated and chopped a funky break and started laying down keys and electric guitar over top. Check out the latest episode of Rhythm Roulette right now.
A message from Aesop Rock – "Here is something new - KLUTZ.
Occasionally song structure eludes me and it feels good. No problem-solving or pesky hit chorus, just rambling. Klutz is such a moment. I had started a couple things to this beat before sacrificing it to the gods of not-shutting-up, but this seemed a fitting fate. I hope you enjoy it.
My longtime video collaborator, Rob Shaw, helped visualize my long-windedness, and I’m excited to have Steve Espo Powers gracing the artwork for the release. - Aesop Rock
You can also pre-order the limited 7” vinyl version which features both the song and the instrumental, as well as art/design by Stephen "ESPO" Powers, only available from Fifth Element. Additionally, bundle the limited Klutz t-shirt with your 7", only available with pre-orders. Get yours now: https://bit.ly/KlutzFE

Chris Rivers is back with a vengeance this week with a freestyle over Royce Da 5’9 s “Caterpillar” beat called “DragonFly”. Chris basically goes all the way off combining flows , lyricism , delivery metaphors and subjects at high levels to show why he really is a dragon and the self proclaimed Greatest in the universe.
“Fresh is something that always has to be new,” says Dapper Dan, “and always has to be potent.” He should know. The avatar of hip hop style got his start in Harlem of the 1970s designing custom “knock-ups” (as opposed to knock offs) for a who’s who of big ballers and shot callers, as well as a few rappers. From Eric B & Rakim to Kool G Rap to The Fat Boys—even Mike Tyson—Dapper Dan dressed them all. But then, during the early 1990s certain major fashion brands ran him out of business. “I had to go underground,” says Dan, who has since made a groundbreaking deal with the House of Gucci, opening boutiques in Harlem and more recently in SoHo. “I was built to start all over anyway,” says Dan. “I was NOT going to let this get away from me…. I said ‘They ain’t gonna leave me out of this.’”

Enter Scott G a.k.a. Scott Gesus a member of Sean Strange's Nah Bro Entertainment record label roster. In early 2018 he was working on his debut album "I Am Gesus" when randomly some months back he was shot 3 times and almost killed. One bullet hit his face, Another in his neck and one in his arm. After a week hospital stay, surgery, and two bullets still in his body, he came home and immediately went in the studio to record a full project in one day.
If you ask Scott why he decided to put the "I Am Gesus" album on hold to do this "Look At God" project he will tell you "It was all fueled by the experience of surviving a near death experience in addition to a statement from the nurse who cared for him in the hospital telling him that God saved his life, Not luck".
The end result is this project titled "Look At God" which is set to be released on May 25th 2018. In April, Scott and Nah Bro Entertainment signed a distribution deal for this project with Underground record label Goon Musick which is run by the Snowgoons. Together they are presenting this project to the world which features appearances by: Conway & Benny The Butcher from Griselda Records, Sean Strange, Intell and is entirely produced by Sean Strange & IamMuzik.
This album is a true definition of "Reality Rap" in a era filled with "Make Believe Rap". Some may hear or see the title and think this is a Gospel or Christian Rap record, But quickly will find out this is an uncensored piece of pure Hip Hop art created by an artist in his darkest times that will bring you into his life in ways that not many can or have done before.

ABOUT THE ALBUM:
Today, EFFISCIENZ has decided to highlight producer Funkonami by signing with him the release of his new instrumental project "Low Fidelity Whisperer".
The man was already noticed with the release of his last two albums "Into The Deep Ocean" in 2017 and "Deep Into The Forest" in 2016 which both met a great success and which were quickly out of stock.
Funkonami is part of this new generation of producers who love to work with noble equipment. Especially in only sampling vinyl with machines that are loaded with history such as the SP 1200. In search of that certain grain that has animated us so much and makes us vibrate to the music.
On the sound side, for this new volume, the atmosphere is spatial and the trip is intergalactic. The new soundtrack of a star system that revolves around the planet Hip-Hop ! It's time to gravitate...
"Low Fidelity Whisperer" will be available May 25 in digital and will also be published in vinyl (limited edition of 300 copies numbered on 3 different colors), CD (limited edition of 300 numbered copies) and cassette (limited edition of 50 numbered copies).
