"NO HOLDIN' BACK"

No Holdin' Back - or as we say the NHB is a new bboy/bgirl battle consept developed by Wartecs of Flow Mo.

"NHB™" is a 1VS1 competition where all the dancers are put on the same line from the first round to the finals where they have to give 100% in each solo they execute. No one can save energy and moves for later and take it easy at any moment of the competition. From cypher qualifications the 16 best dancers will go through to the battles. For bboys/bgirls who wanna test their limits, this is a new kind of consept that will make you do your very best in each and every round.

For all the battles there will be:
- No round limit
- No time limit

The battles will be judged by 3 judges whom each hold a white flag that they will raise clearly in the air as soon as they individually know who the winner is of each battle. This can be straight after the first round, during some round or even after 10 rounds or more.

When all 3 judges know who they will vote for - the battle is over even if it’s in the middle of someones solo. After the battle the host will count the ”1,2,3!” and judges will point to the winner with their flags. With this concept there will be no tie-breaker rounds ever since all the judges already know which dancer they wanna vote as the winner of each battle. Battles will proceed with the same format until the winner is announced.

Necro from Brooklyn, New York & Reverie from Highland Park, Los Angeles, combine for the first time on this track, titled, “Los New Yorkangeles”, bringing an apocalyptic aggressive sound over this Louden produced beat. This is a monumental moment for Necro, as he has never recorded a song with a female MC, nor has he done a song with an artist from Los Angeles until now, considering LA is his biggest market.

It’s about time, and it was worth the wait, as both MC’s go for the jugular vein and deliver a classic East Coast meets West Coast hiphop track. Maffew Ragazino ft. Spazz One | Hectic | Official Music Video

Keeping in the tradition of Worldwide Wednesdays, here is the video for Hectic by Maffew Ragazino. The #BrownsvillesJesus record features his dearly departed cousin, Worldwide Paper Gang member, Robert Martin aka Spazz One and is produced by Paul Cabbin.

This video was originally shot in 2013 by MotionGraff. The video production was delayed temporarily because of conflicting schedules (for months).. and then finally halted due to unforeseen circumstances.

MotionGraff and Maffew had created a treatment for the record because it was Spazz' favourite song that they recorded together. Spazz and Maffew had not done any music videos together and they were eager to get one done.

As they continued to allow life's hurdles disturb them from finishing up the production, time slipped from underneath them. Spazz One was called home on the morning of November 14th, 2013. (Time waits for no man and nothing should be put off for tomorrow that can be done today.. that is what Maffew Ragazino learned from this situation.)

Fast forward.. Serge (the editor from MotionGraff's team) sent Maffew a message one day out of the blue three weeks ago regarding this video. He told him that he'd like to finish up the video with all of the footage they already had as a tribute to Spazz. Maffew couldn't disagree with that one bit.
