21,000 fans voted for the 199 bands that entered online. 2500 members of the AFROPUNK community came out to see 26 semi-finalists perform at 7 shows across Brooklyn, Atlanta, and Philly. In the end, 3 bands were selected for featured slots at the AFROPUNK Festivals in Atlanta and NYC, and 3 runners up were chosen to perform as well.
The finals in NYC were held at July 10th at Beast of Bourbon and featured OSHUN, The VeeVees, ALIGNS, RAAA, and Juggernaut War Party.
