Chicago born producer/live performer Radius aka Radius ETC, has been very active creating and also performing his own unique style(s) of beats since 2001. He is the cofounder of two Chicago based groups; LAGOS (w/ Leo 123) and Beyond Luck (w/ Dj Moppy). In addition, since 2008 he has pursued his craft and vision within various communities (all DIY), such as (but not limited to); Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco/Oakland, New York, Hawaii, and most recently Japan!
Within this timeframe, the majority of his releases, with a few exceptions; "Neighborhood Suicide" (2008 debut CD), "Scatterbrain Tapes Vol. 1" (2009 Cassette), "Infinite Roots Vol. 1" (2013 7”), etc, have been strictly limited CDR or digital. The love and appetite for full-length vinyl releases have always been in the forefront of Radius’ mind. Touring throughout the U.S. and recently abroad has shown that his supporters share this EXACT sentiment.
HOWEVER!
Due to circumstances; such as labels folding prior to release dates, conversations that have amounted to "all talk", or the overall personal reason, a lack of budget; "It just hasn't happened YET"!
THAT ALL CAN CHANGE NOW!!!
If you are unfamiliar with Radius, here are some links to check out his work:
and of course, his most recent release:
