We had the pleasure of spending our summer in Seattle with the LA Clippers’ Jamal Crawford as he hosted his annual Seattle Pro-Am league. For two months, we captured highlights and conducted interviews with Pro-Am players like Isaiah Thomas & Tony Wroten as well as Seattle basketball legends like Gary Payton and Brandon Roy who talked to us about Jamal and how committed he is to giving back to his community.
We also talked to Jamal about his basketball journey that started at home with a yellow Dr J basketball to playing pick-up games with the original Lob City crew of Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp while Crawford was still in high school to the University of Michigan and then to the NBA where he has been breaking records and throwing lobs to Blake Griffin as part of the modern day Lob City.

“Bubbles (So High)” is the very latest single from Cazal Organism to drop on Delicious Vinyl. Featuring vocals from singer Dezi Paige and rapper K-Natural, the song talks to listeners of allowing everyday LA life to wash over you and enjoying the high that it brings. The production boasts Cazal’s signature touch as soaring foamy synths are grounded by whirring, hip-hop accented beats.
The accompanying music video is a fittingly dream-like visualization of the song’s sudsy sentiment and celestial groove. Directed by Dina Juntila, the video sees Paige and K-Natural drive around Los Angeles in a kaleidoscopic homage to California’s trippy side.

PLG | Learn Truth
Propaganda in the Lost Generation (PLG) is a hip-hop duo from Long Island, NY. Propaganda is the manipulation of media to promote a particular viewpoint; music is the media, hip-hop is the culture.
While growing up in Hollis, Queens and moving out the Long Island, PLG has always been surrounded by hip-hop; it became a lifestyle. Since then the mission has been to refine and master the art and resurrect it back to its true form with a smooth flow, dope lyrics, and headboppin' beats. Both emcees (Born G.O.D. and Jayy Geee) are brothers that offer different styles that come together on a track. Their chemistry masterfully comes together on every song.
After creating a buzz on their Soundcloud (www.soundcloud.com/propaganda_lg) PLG is working on their first official project called "Preservers of the Headbop". They've released one track off the mixtape "Learn Truth". This is only the beginning for these talented emcees as they continue their journey.

"The Session" catapulted The Arsonists to one of the pillars of the then new bubbling indy scene that was coming out of New York in the early to mid 90’s. With heavy play on the famed Stretch Armstrong show (hosted by Bobbito – who initially released the song on his legendary Fondle ‘Em Records) the song stood out showcasing the charismatic MC’s over an infectious jazzy bassline. Part Leaders of the New School, part Native Tongues , “The Session” was a special blend of originality that was lacking in the climate of Hip Hop at the time of its release.
For the B Side with “Halloween” The Arsonists take things conceptually pointing out the many “masks” people wear stating that “every day’s like Halloween/nothing’s what it seems” over an equally powerful piano laced beat. The single overall was a breath of fresh air and gave Hip Hop fans a taste of what was lacking – and an idea of great things to come from The Arsonists.

With two full-length albums already under their belts that garnered them buzz in the underground ("Lasting Impressions" & "The Revisited"), New Jersey originated emcee uMaNg, reunites with Swedish producer B.B.Z. Darney ("The Boom Bappin' Zombie"), to complete their trilogy of albums with their label debut on Ill Adrenaline Records entitled, "The Black Rose Certificate."
Shortly after inking a deal with the label, the next eight months would find uMaNg & B.B.Z. embarking on a musical journey that would result in their most personal & brutally honest record to date. He would perform for such artist and events such as The Roots, KRS One, Immortal Technique, Dougie Fresh, Common, Rhymefest, Cypress Hill, Pharoah Monch, Nas, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Taste of Chicago, Lollapolooza, Looptopia, B96 Summer Bash just to name a few. The BRICKHEADZ also won many breakin' competition nationally and internationally. While Shon Roka was being active as a bboy he was working on his craft of being a DJ.

Dej Loaf Talks Detroit, Father's Murder & Big Break
Up and coming "Try Me" rapper Dej Loaf sat down with VladTV correspondent Jenny Boom Boom and briefly discussed growing up in Detroit, losing her father at a young age and how "Try Me" blew up after a few strokes of bad luck.
Dej reveals that she grew up in a single parent home with her two brothers, raised by their mother after their father was murdered in the projects where they lived at the time. She says she greatly admires her mother who is one of the strongest people she knows and is her number one fan who's always supported her career ambitions.
The Detroit native also spoke of working as a cleaner for Chrysler corporate offices, saying the last straw for her was scrubbing floors with a toothbrush. She then quit that job and began taking music seriously, without making much progress initially. She debated getting back to the job market, but instead recorded
"Try Me" and shared it on Soundcloud. The track immediately spread and now has labels bidding for the young star.
