Dennis Infante x Strife | Monthly Mixtape
Dennis Infante is a dancer and DJ from the Bay Area, CA. He currently dances with SF's locking crew, GroovMekanex, and also The MuthaFunkers. He remains active in the dance community whether it's on stage, in cyphers/battles, or judging/DJing at various events, and is also the co-founder of onecypher.com, street dance website.
Throughout the course of his dance/DJ life, Dennis has shared stages with artists like Vikter Duplaix, Rich Medina, Evelyn Champagne King, Pete Rock, Premier, Black Eyed Peas, Rahzel, Souls of Mischief, Jesse Boykins III, Teeko, Max Kane, Swift Rock, Goldenchyld, and also played at jams such as Mighty 4, Freestyle Session, All The Way Live, SouthBound x House Dance Conference, and The 3Styles Battle.
Dennis's sound stays close to his roots in soul, funk, jazz, golden era hip-hop and house. Regardless of what "genre" you may hear him play, he is a firm believer that good music comes in all forms. Having played at parties ranging from Motown On Mondays, Deep SF, Salted, Soulgasm, Kill The Radio, Yes We Can Can, Styles Upon Styles, Summer Soul Festival, Jazz Fiends, So What?!, M Sessions, Dy-no-mite, Strength in Flavor, The Pick Up, Clandestine, and Hot Buttered Soul.

Shon Roka (pronounced Shaun Roca) the DJ also known as Shaun Ortega was born on the west-side of Chicago. He started gaining fame as a bboy in 1991 and later became a member of a well known crew called the BRICKHEADZ. He would perform for such artist and events such as The Roots, KRS One, Immortal Technique, Dougie Fresh, Common, Rhymefest, Cypress Hill, Pharoah Monch, Nas, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Taste of Chicago, Lollapolooza, Looptopia, B96 Summer Bash just to name a few. The BRICKHEADZ also won many breakin' competition nationally and internationally. While Shon Roka was being active as a bboy he was working on his craft of being a DJ.
DJing for w/ Nike, Jordan, Under Armour, Adidas, Vans, Uprise (Chicago) Skateshop for numerous in-stores, sporting events, galleries and corporate outings. Also Shon Roka is a resident DJ post Covid in Chicago at McGee's, Tantrum, Imbibe and Harbee's. While being a DJ, he has been teaching music production and the Art of Skateboarding through Maggie Daley's After School Matters. Also known as Gallery 37.
