Off The Wall: Leonardo DiCaprio & The 11th Hour Art Auction at Christie's
Christie's and The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation recently teamed up for "The 11th Hour," a sale that raised more than $38 million, a record total for a wildlife charity auction. Featuring original, donated works by the likes of George Condo, Mark Grotjahn, and Robert Longo, the proceeds went towards the Foundation's many sustainable environmental initiatives, including preserving wildlife, establishing marine reserves and preventing over-fishing, and providing access to clean water. Here, Life + Times goes behind-the-scenes of the incredible philanthropic triumph.
